In 2006, my family and I spent a year in the Western Highlands of Guatemala as my lovely wife had procured work with CRECER, a health study investigating the effects of indoor air-pollution. While we were there, besides taking care of the kids, cooking, doing laundry and holding down the home-front, I programmed a home-brewed blog system with classic ASP and wrote a bunch of essays about the experience.
