Musing about day-to-day life in San Francisco
I have lived in various locations around San Francisco for twenty years. I still marvel about how one can live here and not know that an entire neighborhood across town even exists - there is a new adventure to be had turning just about every corner.

News From Guatemala
By Paul Lyons
If one day I were to write my memoirs I would most likely title it “Dodging Bullets – The Life of Paul Lyons.” It seems that throughout my stay on this planet, I have been carousing around, seeing what there is to see, taking chances for the sake of adventure. So far it has been a great ride. For the next year, I will be in a small town in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. These essays are dedicated to the beautiful people of San Marcos, Guatemala.

Basket of Technology (with a side urls)
By Paul Lyons
The Internet is such a vast world. Everyone and their grandmother is writing a blog. In the "Basket of Technology," I attempt to give voice to people and technologies that I find useful, interesting or perhaps even humorous.
